For deep winter conditioning, try honey! Massage ½ cup clover honey into wet hair from roots to tips. Wrap your hair in plastic, and then wrap a towel turban around the plastic. Leave on 20 minutes, shampoo and condition. Sweet!

Tame winter static and flyaways with leave-in conditioner. Wash and towel-dry hair, spray conditioner on and comb-through for even distribution. Slip on your favorite sweater and go!

If you wear a hat, cap or scarf to ward off the cold make sure it is loose enough to allow scalp circulation.

Grooming Tips

Winter is the perfect time to grow a full beard. But don't let it get wild and wooly! Make sure to trim it with a heavy-duty motor trimmer at least once or twice a week and before you trim, comb it down to get rid of any tangles.

If winter keeps you indoors most of the time, remember that heating extracts water from the air, making your skin dry and lips cracked. Eating fatty fish like salmon and tuna help repair the skin's outer layer from the inside.

A mustache is a delicate thing. To trim it, first comb it straight down. Then use either a beard trimmer or salon-quality scissors. Start in the middle and trim towards one side of the mouth, then towards the other.
