Nail Clippers, Nail Files, Hair Scissors, Tweezers and many more
Are you afraid of your child accidentally scratching his or her face because of long fingernails? Baby fingernails are soft and flexible yet sharp which makes them hard to trim but also leaves them more prone to nicking their skin. Your baby's nails are small and a typical fingernail or toenail clipper meant for adults will not be appropriate for your child. The Baby Nail Clipper is a compact, slim clipper that is specifically designed to gently trim infant nails safely to help prevent injury and unnecessary scratching of the face.
Small narrow body
Attached nail file
Small cutting edge
Compact and slim design
WHAT THIS CLIPPER CAN DO FOR YOU AND YOUR BABY:
Prevents tearing of nails
Leaves clean cuts without jagged edges
Blades are designed to not cut too close to the skin
Small body and small cutting edge allows for a better fit for trimming a baby's nails
Nail catcher allows for clippings to be held in one place, not all over the room
Nail file allows for convenient filing to smooth any rough edges after trimming
HOW TO USE:
The best times to attempt clipping is after a bath when their nails are more soft and pliable or when your baby is asleep and more apt to lie still. If awake, it may be necessary to have someone distract or hold the baby to prevent too much wiggling and movement. Also, make sure you have enough lighting to see your up close work. Rotate the lever and trim evenly from one side of the nail to the other by trimming straight across. Be careful not to cut too close to the skin. Trimming once or twice a week may be necessary depending on how fast their nails grow.
